The ancient Egyptians referred to their Blessed Dead as Akhu. Samhain is the turning of the wheel that honours those beyond the veil. Anubis, as The Way Shower between and living and the Duat and Nepthys as Guardian of the Threshold will be called forward as we speak the names of our loved ones beyond the veil. In ancient Kemet(Egypt) this act was believed to grant the deceased safe and blessed passage through their journey in the afterlife. We will make offering to the Neteru and join in the receiving of the sacred offering.
Melanie is the owner of Seven Sisters Ritual Apothecary, and co-founder of The Witch's Veil. She has been deeply devoted to her path as Priestess and Witch for over a decade. Her path is delicately woven with Traditional Craft, Venusian Mysteries and Ancient Egyptian Magick.
